One way that sports are awesome is that they help you with health! They help you not get sick as much. They also prevent heart attacks and strokes that you could get in later life! Also it helps you with weight. Like if you are overweight then sports can help you lose weight, and stop some diseases.
Sports also make you feel good about yourself! You feel happy after a game or if you accomplish a goal that you set for yourself you feel proud. Also sports help you learn faster! If you get an A+ in something you feel proud right? They also help you with things like memory, repetition, and socialization which plays a HUGE part in your everyday life!
Although you can get hurt. For example I broke my finger playing soccer. Or you could break your leg running track, or sprain your ankle figure skating. Also if you don't like having to work hard to accomplish something I don't recommend sports.
But although you can get hurt sports are still fun! And, if you do get hurt you'll have your teammates support! Most kids get hurt sometime in their sports career. But most of the time getting hurt just makes you want to try harder and do better!
